Terms of Use

"Aupair Valley" is an application (available as a mobile app for iOS and Android, as well as a web application) that allows au pairs and host families to contact each other.
  1. These Terms of Service apply to the use of Aupair Valley. By using Aupair Valley, the user accepts these Terms of Service.
  2. Registration as an au pair or host family at Aupair Valley is free of charge. Additional Premium memberships and subscriptions can be purchased within the application.
  3. Any person, who is looking for an au pair may register as a family and any person, who is looking for a host family may register as an au pair. Registrations on behalf of a third party are not permitted. Multiple registrations by the same user are not permitted.
  4. Registration is permitted only by users of legal age. Registration for other purposes than finding an au pair or host family is forbidden.
  5. Aupair Valley has the right to suspend an account without prior warnings if we feel that that account could harm the community in any way. Existing in-app purchases or subscriptions will not be refunded and have to be cancelled manually by the user.
  6. Aupair Valley is continuously in development and any features can be introduced or removed by the developers at any time without compensation or consent of the users.
  7. Giving third parties access to your Aupair Valley account is forbidden.
  8. Data available of au pairs and families within the Aupair Valley application must hold confidence and cannot be published or handed to a third party.
  9. Every Aupair Valley user must ensure that the content of his profile does not violate statutory provisions or any restrictions imposed by public authorities by law in the country of the user.
  10. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We will take immediate actions and suspend affected accounts without notice.
  11. The User is responsible for the content published or shared within Aupair Valley and for the consequences of his actions.
  12. Aupair Valley is not obliged to verify the users for any adverse effects on the rights of a third party.
  13. The liability of Aupair Valley is excluded from damages from injury to life, limb, health or any other damage caused by the user's actions.
  14. Aupair Valley does not know the au pairs or the host families and cannot give any guarantees if our users are trustworthy and is not liable for any damages caused.
  15. Chats, pictures and other forms of media are not maintained by Aupair Valley and should be treated with caution. We do not take responsibility for any damage or costs occurring from such sources.
  16. Each user can deactivate his account at any time.
  17. If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, you will be billed until you cancel the subscription. If you wish to cancel a subscription, you must do this within your third party account (Apple ID for iOS, Google Play Store Account for Android, or your account settings for web subscriptions).
  18. Purchases are nonrefundable. Refunds are handled by Apple (for iOS), Google (for Android), or through our support team (for web subscriptions).
